If the recall is indeed true, it wouldn\u2019t be the first time Ferrari has recalled a model due to a fire risk. Not long after the Ferrari 458 Italia launched, the Italian supercar was recalled after a spate of fires around the world.<\/p>\n<p style=\"border: 0px; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-left: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline; font-size: 13px; background: transparent;\">Interestingly, Ferrari has yet to issue a statement regarding the recall and is actually denying that such a recall is underway. Some reports however claim that a special new electrical non-conducting coating is being applied to the fuel tank with the repairs apparently taking a couple of weeks to complete on each LaFerrari model.<\/p>\n<p style=\"border: 0px; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-left: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline; font-size: 13px; background: transparent;\">Be sure to stay tuned to GTspirit as we will update this post as any more news breaks.<\/p>\n<p style=\"border: 0px; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-left: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline; font-size: 13px; background: transparent;\">As you surely know by now, the LaFerrari gets a 6.3-litre V12 which is connected to an electric motor similar to the system on the McLaren P1. The Ferrari F150 V12 has an output of 789 hp at 9000 rpm and 700 Nm at 7000 rpm while its electric motor has a maximum output of 161 hp and 270 Nm of torque.
