And now the second generation of the successful compact car is rolling to the starting line. Its dynamic design characterizes the new Audi A1 Sportback.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The<strong> Audi A1 Sportback<\/strong> has grown significantly in length &#8211; with an additional 56 millimeters (2.2 in), it now measures 4.03 meters (13.2 ft). At the same time, the width has remained almost the same at 1.74 (5.7 ft) meters.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The new<strong> Audi A1 Sportback<\/strong> also emphasizes a resemblance to the <strong>Audi Ur-quattro<\/strong> and <strong>Sport quattro<\/strong> when viewed from the side: The wide, flat sloping C-pillar seems to push the car forward even while standing still. The roof contrast line, which is available in two dark colors, ends above the C-pillar.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Under the hood, there will be an assortment of<strong> TSFI engines<\/strong> including a <strong>1.0-liter three-cylinder<\/strong> as well as a<strong> 1.5- and 2.0-liter four-cylinder<\/strong>. Audi didn\u2019t go into specifics but confirmed the engines will have outputs ranging from 95 PS (70 kW \/ <strong>93 hp<\/strong>) to 200 PS (147 kW \/ <strong>197 hp<\/strong>).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Audi<\/strong> said it will begin accepting orders on the new<strong> A1 Sportback<\/strong> from the summer before launching the sub-compact on the European market in fall 2018.
